As we near the end, please take a look over your sign up and make sure that you've included any/all collaborations, remixes, or safe works! Please also check that you are eligible to sign up with all the fandoms you've chosen. Reminder: to sign up, you must have a minimum of three (3) 500-word fics, a minimum of five (5) 100-word fics, or a minimum of three (3) drawings in each requested fandom. Your qualifying fic/art should already be at the URL you provide when you sign up. Please also remember that DNWs, preferences, likes/dislikes, etc. are not allowed. If anything in your sign up violates the rules, I will delete it after sign ups close.

Hey mods! A friend of mine was thinking about signing up, but they've done a number of translations (of chinese fics into english). They were wondering if those count as collabs, and if they need to specifically mark them as things people shouldn't remix. (Since they weren't the original author.)

My gut instinct says that falls under the same kind of rules as art for big bangs/fic for reverse bangs (or for prior remixes!), but it's not explicitly in your rules so I wanted to pass the question on. Thanks!

Yes that's a pretty clear case of a collaboration considering they didn't author the original fic. I would definitely tell them to mark those as ineligible in their sign up.

Hi mod(s)! I don't want most of my art being remixed as art, so I didn't sign up for that; however, there are a few things I'd be okay with being remixed as art (it's to do with medium, I'm not picking out specific works or anything), and I included a note in my sign up that if someone wants to remix those as art that's fine. Is that okay, or is that too close to including a preference? I'm happy to delete the note if it's a no-go!

That sounds fine to me! To be clear, what I mean by preferences is more like "I like pining and coffee shop AUs" or "Please remix my fic xyz."

Hi. I am in the process of moving fics from LJ to AO3. I've signed up with my AO3 account, but I dropped a note about my old LJ in the sign up. Some of my qualifying fandoms do not yet have 3 fics at AO3. Should I delete those, or can I assume that since I provided both links, I'm safe?

The qualifying fics need to be at a single link upon sign up, as per the rules, so unless you can get the fics posted on your AO3 by the time sign ups close tonight, then yes you should delete anything you don't qualify in. That being said, you can definitely include the LJ link in the text of your sign up and mention that you have more fic for xyz fandom/s there, if your remixer is interested!
