An update on 2020

Hi guys! Hope you're all safe and healthy. I'm down to run this exchange again for 2020, but as I have another exchange running from July - September, I'll probably need to push the time frame back a bit. Below is a tentative 2020 schedule and feedback on it is welcome:

Sign ups: July 28 - August 18 (11:59 PM MST)
Assignments out by: August 20
Works due: September 30 (11:59 PM MST)
Collection revealed: October 14
Remixers revealed: October 21

If you foresee any major conflicts to this schedule, do let me know. I'm mostly flexible! Tell me your opinions!

Heya! Some questions about Remix Rule Stuff -

if a character isn't listed in the tags, but is referenced/namechecked in the story as much as any of the tagged characters, can i bring them to the front of the story in the remixed version? as far as i can see, the rules only cover not including featured pairings and don't say anything about characters.

in addition, if there are characters who weren't part of canon at the time of the original fic's writing, would it be against the rules to put them into the remix?

I think both of those scenarios would be fine! As a mod I'm not going to interfere with or police anyone's interpretations of "remix", so as long as you're not changing the pairing, I would say, feel free to mix up the characters/plot however you want.
