2019 Remix and beyond
Hi, guys.
As I said last year, there was a chance I would not be able to run Remix Revival again this year. I've taken a good, hard look at my real life plans for this year, and there is no way I am going to be able to run the exchange in 2019. Additionally, I have never quite been sure if I wanted to run this exchange indefinitely or not, but have recently come to the conclusion that I don't. Therefore, I will not be running the main Remix Revival exchange again.
What I am going to do is this: If you would like to take over Remix Revival, please email me at remixrevivalmod@gmail.com. I would strongly prefer the exchange to go to someone with prior experience in running multifandom exchanges on AO3; however, if you have a friend who is experienced with AO3 exchanges and would be willing to help you as needed, that would be fine too.
All of that said, I have no issue with continuing to run the Madness portion of Remix Revival if a new mod cannot be found. So, if no one takes on the main exchange, I will run a Remix Madness round sometime in September. Most likely this will involve 2-3 weeks of the collection being unrevealed while people sign up/post fills, and then 1 anon week just like before. I am willing to run Madness every year until a new mod is found or I leave fandom, whichever comes first.
I think that's it. Thanks for the last two years, guys. :)
