slightweasel The Madness collection has had authors/artists revealed and is now closed to new works, so Remix Revival 2018 has officially come to an end! You may now claim your madness remixes publicly, and cross-post wherever you wish.
The final count is 93 works in the main collection, and 42 in the Madness collection, for a total of 135 new remixes for this year.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated, including everyone who signed up, everyone who created remixes, everyone who left feedback on remixes, and especially everyone who took on one or more pinch hit. Pinch hitters are the heroes of any exchange; this exchange could not have run without your help.
I am hoping to run Remix Revival for a third round in 2019. I would also like to be able to run it from July-September again. However, I have reason to suspect real life may try to get in the way, so the schedule could change; and it's also somewhat possible I won't be able to run it at all. Whatever happens, I'll do my best to give at least a month's notice on the dreamwidth/tumblr, so if you check in every few weeks starting in the spring, you shouldn't miss it if it runs on a different schedule.
In the event I am unable to run the main exchange next year at all, I will still try to run a Madness round for a few weeks in the summer/fall.
If you have any suggestions for changes for next year, please leave a comment to the DW post, or email me at remixrevivalmod@gmail.com. I don’t promise to make any particular change, but I am open to feedback and will consider everything when setting up the exchange in 2019.
