Post-Deadline Pinch Hits [#23-27] - 9/11/17

Hi, everyone! The assignment deadline has now passed.

First, I would like to thank everyone who defaulted ahead of time; it means there are only five post-deadline pinch hits. This makes things a whole lot easier, and I appreciate it.

If you do not have a remix waiting for you in the main collection AND were not pinch hit #15-27, but you did turn in your complete assignment on time without defaulting (and the assignment was not a draft at midnight), something has gone wrong. Please contact me ASAP so I can get a pinch hit sent out for you.

The collection is currently closed for behind the scenes mod stuff. It will re-open within 12-24 hours to allow pinch hitters to post; at that time, late assignments may also be posted to the main collection. There will be a new post on DW when the collection has reopened.


That said, here are the pinch hits.

Comments are screened on this post. If you see a pinch hit you would like to claim, post a comment with the username/pinch hit # of the one you want, along with your own AO3 username. You do not need a DW account to claim a pinch hit, and you may claim a pinch hit even if you did not sign up for Remix yourself.

You do not have to know the fandoms someone requested in order to claim a pinch hit. If you check out the URL in their request and see something of theirs in a different fandom that you'd like to remix, that is fair game as long as it is otherwise eligible (ie not a WIP, remix, collaboration, or safe work/series/fandom).

You may claim up to two pinch hits with the September 16 deadline at a time. (To claim a third, please finish and post one of the first two first.) Please only take more than one pinch hit at a time if you are fully confident you can finish both in time.

These are all due on September 16, 11:59 PM Eastern time.

collection re-opening, pinch hits still available

The main collection has re-opened to allow the remaining pinch hits to be posted. If you finish a late/additional full-length/full-sized remix for your assigned recipient, those may be posted to the main collection as well.

Pinch hits #23 and #24 are still available. Barring any unforeseen issues, it does not look like there will be any additional pinch hits.

The main collection is scheduled to open at 8 AM Eastern time on Sunday, September 17. If you are still editing your assignment(s), please plan to be done by then.

The scheduled opening time is based on the assumption that all the pinch hits come in on time and no emergency pinch hits are required. The collection will not open until everyone who turned in their assignment on time has a remix waiting for them, so there is always the possibility that it will open late. Any delays will be noted on Dreamwidth and Tumblr.
