We're live!
The Remix Revival 2018 collection is open for viewing! Meanwhile, the Madness collection will open at 10 AM Eastern time Monday morning.
Please contact me ASAP at remixrevivalmod@gmail.com if any of the following applies to you:
- You fulfilled your assignment on time, but did not receive a remix in the main collection. (Please check your AO3 gifts page first in case an email went missing somewhere.)
- You received a remix under 1000 words (for fic).
- You received a remix that is clearly incomplete.
- You received a remix of an unavailable work (WIP, collaboration, or previous remix).
- You received a remix of a safe work.
- You received a remix that changed the pairing (or added a pairing to a gen work where that pairing was never explicitly mentioned).
- You received a remix that seems to have nothing to do with your original work even if you squint really hard while holding it upside-down.
Some of you have multiple remixes in the main collection. There are a few possible reasons for this: you were double assigned; your remixer remixed more than one of your works; or you went to pinch hit and your original remixer came through after the deadline. In any of these cases, please enjoy your good fortune!
Finally, a reminder: it is perfectly acceptable to post-date your remixes so that they have today’s date and show up toward the top of their respective fandom tags. If your remix is in a fandom that’s had any movement since you posted it, I would strongly recommend doing so. My only request, if you do post-date, is that you limit it to once during the anon period and/or once after creator reveals (so no more than twice total).
Many thanks to the pinch hitter who stepped up to the plate for that last pinch hit; and to the rest of you for your patience, as well. Enjoy the collection, everyone! :D

And thank you; I love remix, and it's a pleasure to make it happen.

(Anonymous) 2018-09-17 02:47 am (UTC)(link)I just signed in to officially drop a Madness claim (I still hope to post during the anon period, but I've accepted that it won't be up by tomorrow morning and don't want to leave the author hanging). And that worked, but the system immediately dumped me into a list of Madness claims for which no work has yet been posted -- with the claimer's name attached to each one. This has to be a kind of confidential information, so I clicked out again, but I assume that if it's displaying this info to me, I'm probably not the only one who can see it.
Please feel free to screen this comment; I don't mean to broadcast this to the universe. But I thought I ought to report it in case you can do something to fix it, without it requiring an AO3 code update.

It didn't really occur to me that this would be something people would worry about. I think the ship has more or less sailed for this year's round, but next year I'll make sure I mention it somewhere for the Madness round.
