POST DEADLINE PINCH HITS - 9/10/18

The assignment deadline has passed.

If you did not turn in your assignment or pinch hit from an earlier set, you have now been defaulted. If you posted your work as a DRAFT, and did not complete posting it by the deadline, you have also been defaulted.

The collection is currently closed for behind-the-scenes admin stuff. It will reopen for pinch hits to be posted sometime tomorrow afternoon, after I have had the chance to check all the submitted remixes for placeholders.



There are 13 14 post-deadline pinch hits

I am posting ALL the outstanding pinch hits with new numbers. Previous pinch hit posts have been struck through; please do NOT try to claim a pinch hit on any earlier post.

Comments are screened on this post. If you see a pinch hit you would like to claim, post a comment with the username/pinch hit # of the one you want, along with your AO3 username. You do not need a DW account to claim a pinch hit, and you may claim a pinch hit even if you did not sign up for Remix yourself.

You do not have to know the fandoms someone requested in order to claim a pinch hit. If you check out the URL in their request and see something of theirs in a different fandom that you'd like to remix, that is fair game as long as it is otherwise eligible (ie not a WIP, remix, collaboration, or safe work/series/fandom).

All pinch hits are due at 11:59 PM Eastern time on Saturday, September 15. Fic remixes must be at least 1000 words and complete at the time of posting, while art remixes must be a complete drawn piece (not on lined paper) at the time of posting.

In order for the collection to open on time, everyone who turned in their completed assignment by the deadline must have a remix in the collection. If we're waiting on fic/art for anyone on Sunday, the collection opening will be delayed until everyone has a remix waiting for them.

Collection re-opened

I just finished checking the current remixes in the collection for completeness. The collection has now been re-opened so pinch hitters can post their remixes. If you were defaulted and want to finish a remix for your recip anyway, you may still post it to the collection as well.

At this time, it does not appear that there will be any further pinch hits (yay!). There is one new pinch; it's been added to the previous post so as to keep everything together. See the post before this one for the currently outstanding pinch hits; there are 7 remaining at the moment.
