Pinch Hits [#13-14, reposting #11] - 9/4/17

There are two new pinch hits, and I am reposting one from the last batch. These are the last pinch hits that will be due with the rest of the assignments; any pinch hits posted this coming weekend (the weekend of the 10th) will have a new due date.

Comments are screened on this post. If you see a pinch hit you would like to claim, post a comment with the username/pinch hit # of the one you want, along with your own AO3 username. You do not need a DW account to claim a pinch hit, and you may claim a pinch hit even if you did not sign up for Remix yourself.

You do not have to know the fandoms someone requested in order to claim a pinch hit. If you check out the URL in their request and see something of theirs in a different fandom that you'd like to remix, that is fair game as long as it is otherwise eligible (ie not a WIP, remix, collaboration, or safe work/series/fandom).

I would prefer people have no more than one unposted pinch hit at a time, so please don't try to claim a second pinch hit until you've finished and posted your first one.

These are all due at the assignment deadline, September 10, 11:59 PM Eastern time.

Six days until remixes are due!

Upcoming deadline
Hi, guys! There is almost a week left until remixes are due. If you have not turned in your remix by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Sunday, September 10, you will be automatically defaulted. As a reminder, your remix must be complete when you post it; while some editing post-deadline is fine, placeholders and obviously incomplete remixes will not be accepted.

If you already know you will have to default, I would appreciate it if you did it by the weekend so I can break up the pinch hits a little more. (Assuming there are pinch hits available to post, there will be multiple pinch hit posts prior to the post-deadline pinch hits.) That said, if you’re not sure if you’ll be able to finish in time and will need to work right up until the deadline to find out, that is perfectly fine.


Remix Madness
As a reminder, the Madness Round opened for signups and posting several weeks ago. Everyone is welcome to play! You did not have to sign up for the main exchange to sign up for Remix Madness, and you do not have to opt in to be remixed in order to remix others.
